A professional grade tool. Cast aluminum alloy frame with critical moving parts
milled from high carbon tool steel. Adjustable clearance allows for setting snaps
in a variety of materials including Heavy Fabrics, Heavy Vinyl, Webbing and
Leather. For best results when setting snaps in heavy materials and leather
always pre-punch holes cleanly, we recommend our Industrial grade Hole
Punch tool (sold separately)
Frame and spindle Configured for interchangeable Mil-Spec snap setting dies.
Includes Setting dies for Size 24 MILPSEC snaps (MIL-MS27980-1N,6N,7N, 8N).
Sets Mini Mil-Spec Snaps and Mil-Spec PTD (Pull the Dot) type snaps with
additional dies (sold separately). Available Bench Mounting Bracket
(Sold Separately) allows tool to be bolted to work bench for easier use & higher
production.
Follow snap installation instructions carefully for best results. Compatibility with
consumer grade setting tools & dies obtained from other manufacturers can not be
guaranteed.
