Ladder locks are used to cinch and hold webbing in a desired spot. Non Sparking molded Acetal Plastic construction for corrosion resistance and safety in hazardous / explosive atmospheres. Commonly used to adjust the shoulder straps on backpacks, but can be used nearly anywhere cinching and frequent adjustment of strap length is required.
These special repair ladder locks feature a strategically placed cut on the main rung to allow field replacement of other damaged Mil-Spec ladder locks without requiring the strap to be cut or re-stitched. Simply feed the webbing loop through the cut, and shift it into place. A real "life saver" in the field, always keep a few of these in your pack, so you can keep your backpack on your back, and your hands free for more important things.
