Knew-Tek™ is a new Earth Friendly Suede fabric that stretches. The fabric features a soft, smooth, non-chafing suede textured 100% Polyurethane face with a backing of knitted polyester that stretches in one direction. It offers excellent abrasion resistance, with strong tear characteristics. It is also resistant to ozone gas, solvents, oils and many common chemicals; however it easily decomposes when exposed continuously to the outdoor elements. Withstands cold temperatures down to -22F and hot temperatures up to 240F. Meets California Technical Bulletin 117-2000 Section E, Part 1 for Upholstery Fabrics.
Great for environmentally conscious projects and products that require biodegradable materials. Suitable uses include sports equipment, pet supplies, gloves, shoes and boots, home furnishings, luggage and bags, pet supplies, motocross, weight lifting accessories, equestrian equipment.
