A new product that has been recently adopted for military use and new equipment research, similar in feel and characteristics to Dupont's Hypalon® Although it has not been issued a Mil-Spec designation yet, this material shows promise for formal adoption by the US military. Generally this material is the 21st. century replacement for leather. It can be laser cut to precise shapes, and is extremely durable. Uses include shoulder rig holsters and accessories and holders for equipment vests, reducing the need for stitched webbing on ALICE rigs.
