TexWax® CORDURA® 12 ounce Waxed NYCO Duck

A 15% CORDURA® Nylon / 85% Cotton blend, waxed duck canvas.

The fabric for your next adventure TexWax™ is a strong, durable cotton based fabric that is treated with generations-old formulations of various grades and qualities of waxes. these waxes impart flexibility at cold temperatures, water repellency, non-transferability, and a high melt point. TexWax™ is an authentic American heritage cloth, brought forward for todays rugged, sustainable and  fashion-focused styles.

Equally at ease in apparel, bags, hats, and outdoor products, it is also widely used by equestrians for turnout blankets, and by dog lovers for rain wear, beds, and vests. TexWax™ is the adventurer's/worker's fabric of choice, as well as the urban sportsman's preference.

Woven from a NyCo blend of 15% CORDURA® and 85% Cotton, this 12 ounce canvas duck has a finish weight (after waxing) of 16.6 ounces.

Due to waxing, shades will vary greater than standard cotton dyed non wax fabrics. The unique character of TexWax™ is to have craze or crack marks when handled. To remove craze marks from fabric, use a medium hot iron over brown paper.  Each color is a representation of a color standard and is subject to shade and weight variations. Bright and deep colors are subject to crocking and bleeding and should not be mixed with white or light colors in the same garment. No guarantees can be made regarding light-fastness or color transference during washing or cleaning.
