Just because it's "Green", doesn't mean its
 "Wimpy". This material is the ultimate in
abrasion resistance, and some of the toughest
 material we've seen; don't let the fact that
 it's made from recycled tires fool you.
 It's a contender with any virgin material
of the same weight.

Because it is made primarily from recycled
 automobile tires, Reprotek® retains nearly all
 of the characteristics of auto tires: Extreme
 abrasion resistance, flexibility in all
 temperatures, non-marking, oil and gasoline
 resistant, and when scuffed; simply rub the
 scuff mark away with a stiff bristle brush.

This material is backed with a durable, elastic
 polyurethane coating that gives the material
 its water proof qualities. Stretches in all
 directions and returns to its original shape
 with minimal distortion. Sew it just like
you would sew vinyl.

Great for the bottom of backpacks, duffel bags
 and "drag bags". Perfect for the bottoms of
 dog shoes/booties for working dogs that must
 be in rough terrain or rubble.
