This is the closest you will get to authentic
 military issue CANVAK of yesteryear. Restoring a
vintage military vehicle or other classic military
 equipment?... This is the stuff you need.

No restoration or reproduction of pre 1980's U.S.
 Military equipment would be complete without this
 authentic looking (and smelling) fabric.

It may be Vintage, but it still works; water actually beads on the durable waxy surface, retains its waterproof and rot-proof capability for years.

For those too young to remember, CANVAK is a
 fabric protectant & waterproofing solution applied
 mainly to cotton canvas, used primarily by the military back in the day before vinyl and other synthetic materials. CANVAK has a waxy feel and
an unmistakable pungent odor that will
 probably remind you of that smell of walking into
 an old time Army Surplus store, or those old
 military surplus tents from Boyscout camp.

 Quality #10 Cotton Duck FACTORY spray coated
 with CANVAK. Factory coated means an even,
 uniform coating, without the mess and hassle
of stinking up your whole neighborhood with
 Do-It-Yourself liquid CANVAK solution.
 
Weighs about 16 ounces per square yard,
approximately .0320" thick. Cut to order in
 One Yard increments. No refunds after order is cut.
