Scroll Bars (on your Web Browser) Scroll bars allow you to view a web page that is too big for your screen by allowing you to move the page up and down and side to side in your web browser window. Position your screen pointer with your mouse on the scroll bar, click your left mouse button and hold the button down while you drag the scroll bar in the direction you want the web page to move.
